WORD DIARY: TUESDAY MARCH 31, 2020

Permanent divine blessings!...

Rom 11:27 And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins."

Merciful God! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies on your account; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs

God’s people! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:29 For God's gifts and his call are irrevocable.

Permanent divine blessings! #PastorBasil

John 14:16-17 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

Let us pray: Sweet Holy Spirit, we welcome your guidance in Jesus name #PastorBasil

Life questions: 1.  The Holy Spirit is the companion of the New Testament believer. Do you
recognize His presence in your life?
  2.  In what ways can you engage Him more in your daily life? #PastorBasil

WORD DIARY: MONDAY MARCH 30, 2020

Salvation for all!.....

Rom 11:24 After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

Fruitful! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.

Full house of believers! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.

Salvation for all! #PastorBasil

John 14:15 "If you love me, you will obey what I command.

Let us pray: O Lord, we receive grace to obey your command in Jesus name #PastorBasil

WORD DIARY: SUNDAY MARCH 29, 2020

Return to God!....

Rom 11:21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

Beware! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off.

Don’t abuse divine grace! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

Return to God! #PastorBasil

John 14:13-14 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Let us pray: O Lord, may our lives manifest your glory in Jesus name

Life questions: 1.  Would you say that you abuse the grace of God in your life?
  2.   How will you make amends if so? #PastorBasil

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a bible believing church near you.

WORD DIARY: SATURDAY MARCH 28, 2020

Acknowledge the grace of God!...

Rom 11:17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root.

Saved by divine grace! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:18 Do not boast over those branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.

Acknowledge the grace of God! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:19-20 You will say then, "Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in." Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid.

Stay connected; kill pride! #PastorBasil

John 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

Let us pray: O Lord, we thank you for divine empowerment in Jesus name #PastorBasil

Life questions: 1.  Life challenges allow us to demonstrate our faith in God. Is this the
                               case with you?
  2.  Do you believe God to achieve great feats through you?
       #PastorBasil

WORD DIARY: FRIDAY MARCH 27, 2020

Global joy of salvation!....

Rom 11:13-14 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I make much of my ministry in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them.

Good news winning all! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:15 For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?

Global joy of salvation! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:16 If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.

Build up the foundations! #PastorBasil

John 14:11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves.

Let us pray: O Lord, we testify to your awesome powers in Jesus name #PastorBasil

Life questions: 1.  Do you enjoy the joy of a daily fellowship with Jesus?
  2.  If not, what do you consider as hindrances and how to overcome them?
       #PastorBasil

WORD DIARY: THURSDAY MARCH 26, 2020

Assurance of full recovery!....

Rom 11:9-10 And David says: "May their table become a snare and a trap,
a stumbling block and a retribution for them. May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see, and their backs be bent forever."

Grace to escape self-destruction! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:11 Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious.

Call to repentance: Return to God! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:12 But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their fullness bring!

Assurance of full recovery! #PastorBasil

John 14:10 Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.

Let us pray: O Lord, thank you for your wonder working word in Jesus name #PastorBasil

Life questions: 1.  Do you know that God lives in the inside of you?
  2.  With this in mind, how would you do things differently? #PastorBasil

WORD DIARY: WEDNESDAY MARCH 25, 2020

Mercy, Lord!....

Rom 11:5-6 So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.

It’s the grace of God! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:7 What then? What Israel sought so earnestly it did not obtain, but the elect did. The others were hardened.

Let go: Let God! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:8 As it is written: "God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes so that they could not see
and ears so that they could not hear, to this very day."

Mercy, Lord! #PastorBasil

John 14:8-9 Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us." Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?

Let us pray: Father God, we receive the grace for contentment by your word in Jesus name #PastorBasil

Life questions: 1.  Do you value the wisdom of man above the word of God?
  2.  When the word of God says He can handle a matter, do you let Him?

For comments, questions and general counsel follow me at basil.chukwuezi on Facebook,  @BasilChukwuezi on Twitter and  my log,  http://kingdomstreet.blogspot.com. Email: edensquareassembly@yahoo.com. All scriptures are from the New International Version (NIV). God bless you.

WORD DIARY: TUESDAY MARCH 24, 2020

Sold out to God!....

Rom 10:21 But concerning Israel he says, "All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people."

Honor God’s invitation! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:1-2 I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don't you know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah — how he appealed to God against Israel

Always God’s people! #PastorBasil

Rom 11:3-4 "Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me"? And what was God's answer to him? "I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal."

Sold out to God! #PastorBasil

John 14:6-7 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

Let us pray: O Lord, grant us revelation of the way, the truth and the life in Jesus name #PastorBasil

Life questions: 1. When challenges of life arise, do you give up on God?
  2.  How will you behave differently if you know that God is ever present in        whatever you are passing through?

For comments, questions and general counsel follow me at basil.chukwuezi on Facebook,  @BasilChukwuezi on Twitter and  my blog,  http://kingdomstreet.blogspot.com. Email: edensquareassembly@yahoo.com. All scriptures are from the New International Version (NIV). God bless you.

WORD DIARY: MONDAY MARCH 23, 2020

Take up your divine inheritance!..

Rom 10:18 But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: "Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."

Reality check: Have you not heard the good news?! #PastorBasil

Rom 10:19 Again I ask: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says, "I will make you envious by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding."

Take up your divine inheritance! #PastorBasil

Rom 10:20 Isaiah dared to speak out these words of God: People found and welcomed me
who never so much as looked for me. And I found and welcomed people who had never even asked about me.

God is calling; seek Him! #PastorBasil

John 14:4-5 You know the way to the place where I am going." Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"

Let us pray: O Lord, show us the way to eternal life in Jesus name #PastorBasil

Life questions: 1. Would you say you have heard the good news of Jesus Christ preached?
                          2. How do you apply the tenets of the good news in your daily living?

For comments, questions and general counsel follow me at basil.chukwuezi on Facebook,  @BasilChukwuezi on Twitter and  my blog,  http://kingdomstreet.blogspot.com. Email: edensquareassembly@yahoo.com. All scriptures are from the New International Version (NIV). God bless you.

Saturday, 21 March 2020

WORD DIARY: SUNDAY MARCH 22, 2020

Accept the good news!....

Rom 10:15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

Declare the good news! #PastorBasil

Rom 10:16 But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our message?"

Accept the good news! #PastorBasil

Rom 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.

Hear the word of God; build up faith! #PastorBasil

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Let us pray: O Lord, we earnestly expect your second coming in Jesus name #PastorBasil

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

WORD DIARY: SATURDAY MARCH 21, 2020

Be a partner with God!...

Rom 10:11-12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile — the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him

Make a demand on God! #PastorBasil

Rom 10:13 For "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

God answers prayers! #PastorBasil

Rom 10:14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

Be a partner with God! #PastorBasil

John 14:2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.

Let us pray: O Lord, we thank you for the hope of eternal life in Jesus name #PastorBasil
