WORD DIARY: TUESDAY NOVEMBER 3, 2026

 

#Desire divine revelation!..

Jer. 32: 1-2 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar. The army of the king of Babylon was then besieging Jerusalem, and Jeremiah the prophet was confined in the courtyard of the guard in the royal palace of Judah.

Jer. 32: 3-5 Now Zedekiah king of Judah had imprisoned him there, saying, “Why do you prophesy as you do? You say, ‘This is what the Lord says: I am about to give this city into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he will capture it. Zedekiah king of Judah will not escape the Babylonians but will certainly be given into the hands of the king of Babylon, and will speak with him face to face and see him with his own eyes. He will take Zedekiah to Babylon, where he will remain until I deal with him, declares the Lord. If you fight against the Babylonians, you will not succeed.’”

Jer. 32: 6-7 Jeremiah said, “The word of the Lord came to me: Hanamel son of Shallum your uncle is going to come to you and say, ‘Buy my field at Anathoth, because as nearest relative it is your right and duty to buy it.’

Jer. 32: 8 “Then, just as the Lord had said, my cousin Hanamel came to me in the courtyard of the guard and said, ‘Buy my field at Anathoth in the territory of Benjamin. Since it is your right to redeem it and possess it, buy it for yourself.’ “I knew that this was the word of the Lord

#Enduring divine covenant!..

Jer. 31: 35-36 This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—     the Lord Almighty is his name: “Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,” declares the Lord, “will Israel ever cease being a nation before me.”

#The Lord Almighty!

Jer. 31: 37 This is what the Lord says: “Only if the heavens above can be measured and the foundations of the earth below be searched out will I reject all the descendants of Israel     because of all they have done,” declares the Lord.

#Enduring divine covenant!

Jer. 31: 38-39 “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when this city will be rebuilt for me from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate. The measuring line will stretch from there straight to the hill of Gareb and then turn to Goah.

#Desire divine restoration!

Jer. 31: 40 The whole valley where dead bodies and ashes are thrown, and all the terraces out to the Kidron Valley on the east as far as the corner of the Horse Gate, will be holy to the Lord. The city will never again be uprooted or demolished.”

#Desire divine covenant!..

Jer. 31: 27-28 “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will plant the kingdoms of Israel and Judah with the offspring of people and of animals. Just as I watched over them to uproot and tear down, and to overthrow, destroy and bring disaster, so I will watch over them to build and to plant,” declares the Lord.

Jer. 31: 31-32 “The days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord.

Jer. 31: 33 “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

STEWARDSHIP! - PART 1 - INTRODUCTION!...

 

"As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." - 1 Peter 4:10 (KJV)

A dictionary definition of stewardship is “the job of supervising or taking care of something, such as an organization or property”. From the perspective of the Bible, stewardship is one of the fundamental principles of the Christian faith. It speaks of our responsibility to manage faithfully everything God has entrusted into our hands. As believers, we must understand that everything we possess—our lives, time, talents, gifts, finances, opportunities, relationships, resources, and spiritual abilities—ultimately belongs to God. We are not owners but stewards, entrusted with divine resources to fulfil God's purposes on earth.

Our anchor scripture, 1 Peter 4:10, provides a clear foundation for understanding biblical stewardship. Apostle Peter admonishes every believer to recognize the gifts and abilities received from God and to use them in serving others. This scripture establishes two important truths: every believer has received something from God, and every believer has a responsibility to use what has been received for the benefit of others and the glory of God.

Stewardship, therefore, is not limited to financial giving or the management of material possessions. It encompasses every aspect of our Christian lives. God expects us to be faithful managers of His grace, gifts, time, resources, responsibilities, and opportunities. In the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14–30), Jesus illustrates that the Master distributes resources to His servants according to their abilities and eventually returns to evaluate how faithfully they have managed what was entrusted to them. The parable reminds us that stewardship comes with accountability. What God has placed in our hands is not meant to be wasted, neglected, or buried but invested productively for His kingdom.

Furthermore, 1 Corinthians 4:2 declares, "Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful." This reveals that God's primary expectation of a steward is faithfulness. God is not necessarily looking for the most talented, wealthy, influential, or gifted individuals, but for people who are dependable, responsible, obedient, and faithful with whatever He has committed to their care.

As Christians, we must also understand that stewardship is an act of worship. When we manage our resources wisely, serve faithfully, give generously, exercise our spiritual gifts, and use our opportunities to advance God's kingdom, we demonstrate our love and commitment to Him. Colossians 3:23–24 encourages us to do everything wholeheartedly as unto the Lord and not unto men.

Our five-part series for the month of November "Stewardship" challenges us to examine how effectively we are managing God's blessings and responsibilities. It explores our stewardship of time, talents, spiritual gifts, finances, relationships, and the work of God's kingdom. We pray and expect that this series will awaken in every believer a renewed sense of responsibility, faithfulness, and accountability before God. May we move from being mere recipients of God's blessings to becoming faithful distributors and managers of His grace. Ultimately, may God find us faithful stewards who have used everything entrusted to us to serve others, advance His kingdom, and bring glory to His name.

Jer. 31: 22-23 How long will you wander, unfaithful Daughter Israel? The Lord will create a new thing on earth— the woman will return to the man.” This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “When I bring them back from captivity, the people in the land of Judah and in its towns will once again use these words: ‘The Lord bless you, you prosperous city, you sacred mountain.’

Jer. 31: 24-26 People will live together in Judah and all its towns—farmers and those who move about with their flocks. I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” At this I awoke and looked around. My sleep had been pleasant to me.

MANIFESTING DIVINE SPEED! - PART 4 - CONCLUSION!... (ANOINTING SERVICE)

 

“And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.” — 1 Kings 18:46 (KJV)

There are incommunicable attributes of God that emphasize the absolute distinction between God and His creation. His omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence are some of these attributes. With these attributes, God oftentimes intervenes in the course of our lives to help us and also to fulfil His purpose in our lives.  It does not matter at what season we are in. Sometimes life seems to move at a pace that does not reflect the prayers we have prayed, the sacrifices we have made, or the preparation we have undergone. We have prayed. We have waited. We have worked. We have remained faithful. Yet, somehow, the results seem delayed.

What we need is the hand of God. There is a dimension of God's power that can change the speed of our journey. When God steps into a process, He does in a moment what human strength could not accomplish in years; obstacles give way, doors open, opportunities align, and long-awaited results begin to manifest with unusual speed. This is what we describe as Divine Speed. Divine speed is not merely running fast physically. It is the supernatural enablement of God that causes a person to accomplish, recover, advance, arrive, or experience in a short period what ordinarily might require a much longer time. It is God accelerating a process without compromising His purpose.

Our anchor passage in 1 Kings 18:46 presents one of the most remarkable pictures of supernatural acceleration in Scripture:

“And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah…”

It is obvious that Elijah's speed was connected to the hand of God. The Bible does not simply say that Elijah became stronger through human effort, but that the hand of the Lord came upon him. The supernatural hand of God enabled him to outrun a king who was travelling by chariot. This is significant because Elijah had just experienced an extraordinary spiritual victory on Mount Carmel. Fire had fallen from heaven, the prophets of Baal had been confronted, and the people had acknowledged the Lord as God (1 Kings 18:20–39). Elijah then prayed for rain after a prolonged drought, and God answered (1 Kings 18:41–45). Immediately after this, something unusual happened: the same God who had answered Elijah's prayer for rain also empowered Elijah to move with extraordinary speed.

God is still able and willing to fulfil His purpose in our lives. We can still lean on His promise: "A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time."(Isaiah 60:22). #Saved to serve!..

Jer. 30: 7-8 How awful that day will be! No other will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for Jacob, but he will be saved out of it.  “‘In that day,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘I will break the yoke off their necks and will tear off their bonds; no longer will foreigners enslave them.

#Saved by God!

Jer. 30: 9 Instead, they will serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.

#Saved to serve!

Jer. 30: 10 “‘So do not be afraid, Jacob my servant; do not be dismayed, Israel,’ declares the Lord. ‘I will surely save you out of a distant place, your descendants from the land of their exile. Jacob will again have peace and security, and no one will make him afraid.

#Saved from fear!

Jer. 30: 11 I am with you and will save you,’ declares the Lord. ‘Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only in due measure; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.’

Let us pray: Father God, we receive the measure of your discipline in the name of Jesus

#The coming restoration!..

Jer. 30: 1-2 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Write in a book all the words I have spoken to you.

#Word of God!

Jer. 30: 3 The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will bring my people Israel and Judah back from captivity and restore them to the land I gave their ancestors to possess,’ says the Lord.”

#The coming restoration!

Jer. 30: 4-5 These are the words the Lord spoke concerning Israel and Judah: “This is what the Lord says: “‘Cries of fear are heard— terror, not peace.

#No more fears!

Jer. 30: 6 Ask and see: Can a man bear children? Then why do I see every strong man     with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labor, every face turned deathly pale?

Let us pray: Father God, cause to experience a new beginning in the name of Jesus.

WORD DIARY: THURSDAY OCTOBER 22, 2026

 

#Embrace the truth!..

Jer. 29: 26-27 ‘The Lord has appointed you priest in place of Jehoiada to be in charge of the house of the Lord; you should put any maniac who acts like a prophet into the stocks and neck-irons. So why have you not reprimanded Jeremiah from Anathoth, who poses as a prophet among you?

#Beware of falsehood!

Jer. 29: 28 He has sent this message to us in Babylon: It will be a long time. Therefore build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce.’”

#Embrace the truth!

Jer. 29: 29-30 Zephaniah the priest, however, read the letter to Jeremiah the prophet. Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah:

#Uphold the truth!

Jer. 29: 31-32 “Send this message to all the exiles: ‘This is what the Lord says about Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, even though I did not send him, and has persuaded you to trust in lies, this is what the Lord says: I will surely punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite and his descendants. He will have no one left among this people, nor will he see the good things I will do for my people, declares the Lord, because he has preached rebellion against me.’”

Let us pray: Father God, we receive the grace for discernment in the name of Jesus

#Beware of lies!..

Jer. 29: 18-19 I will pursue them with the sword, famine and plague and will make them abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth, a curse and an object of horror, of scorn and reproach, among all the nations where I drive them. For they have not listened to my words,” declares the Lord, “words that I sent to them again and again by my servants the prophets. And you exiles have not listened either,” declares the Lord.

#Listen to God!

Jer. 29: 20-21 Therefore, hear the word of the Lord, all you exiles whom I have sent away from Jerusalem to Babylon. This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says about Ahab son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah son of Maaseiah, who are prophesying lies to you in my name: “I will deliver them into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will put them to death before your very eyes.

#Judgment of God!

Jer. 29: 22-23 Because of them, all the exiles from Judah who are in Babylon will use this curse: ‘May the Lord treat you like Zedekiah and Ahab, whom the king of Babylon burned in the fire.’ For they have done outrageous things in Israel; they have committed adultery with their neighbors’ wives, and in my name they have uttered lies—which I did not authorize. I know it and am a witness to it,” declares the Lord.

#Beware of lies!

Jer. 29: 24-25 Tell Shemaiah the Nehelamite, “This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: You sent letters in your own name to all the people in Jerusalem, to the priest Zephaniah son of Maaseiah, and to all the other priests. You said to Zephaniah,

#Freedom from captivity!..

Jer. 29: 10-11 This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

#Plans for good!

Jer. 29: 12-13 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

#Call on God!

Jer. 29: 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”

#Freedom from captivity!

Jer. 29: 15-17 You may say, “The Lord has raised up prophets for us in Babylon,” but this is what the Lord says about the king who sits on David’s throne and all the people who remain in this city, your fellow citizens who did not go with you into exile— yes, this is what the Lord Almighty says: “I will send the sword, famine and plague against them and I will make them like figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten.

Let us pray: Father God, let your mercy prevail against judgment in the name of Jesus

WORD DIARY: MONDAY OCTOBER 19, 2026

 

#Mandate to increase!..

Jer. 29: 1-2 This is the text of the letter that the prophet Jeremiah sent from Jerusalem to the surviving elders among the exiles and to the priests, the prophets and all the other people Nebuchadnezzar had carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon. (This was after King Jehoiachin and the queen mother, the court officials and the leaders of Judah and Jerusalem, the skilled workers and the artisans had gone into exile from Jerusalem.)

#Letter to exiles!

Jer. 29: 3 He entrusted the letter to Elasah son of Shaphan and to Gemariah son of Hilkiah, whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent to King Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon. It said:

#Trusted to deliver!

Jer. 29: 4-6 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says to all those I carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon: “Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce. Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease.

#Mandate to increase!

Jer. 29: 7-9 Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” Yes, this is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have. They are prophesying lies to you in my name. I have not sent them,” declares the Lord.

Let us pray: Father God prosper and bring peace to our nation in the name of Jesus
