1 Cor 16:6-7 Perhaps I will stay with you awhile, or even spend the winter, so that you

have to be made.

#Create a system to assist others!

WORD DIARY: SUNDAY AUGUST 30, 2020

#Victory in Jesus!..

1 Cor 15:55  "Where, O death, is your victory?

Where, O death, is your sting?"

#No more death!

1 Cor 15:56-57 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be

to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

#Victory in Jesus!

1 Cor 15:58 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always

give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in

the Lord is not in vain.

#Assurance of divine reward!

John 20:19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were

together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them

and said, "Peace be with you!"

Let us pray: O Lord, thank you for the peace of salvation in Jesus name

#Life questions: 1. Are you aware that you have victory through the Lord Jesus Christ?

2. How can you experience this victory in your challenges?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a bible believing church near you. Please kindly like and share to others. God bless you.

WORD DIARY: SATURDAY AUGUST 29, 2020

#Victory over death!...

1 Cor 15:52 In a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

#Eternal life!

1 Cor 15: 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.

#Think of immortality!

1Cor 15: 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

#Victory over death!

John 20:18 Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.

Let us pray: O Lord, we thank you for  the manifestation of your glory in Jesus name

#Life questions: 1. Do you believe there is eternity after life?

2. Are living your with eternity in mind?

WORD DIARY: FRIDAY AUGUST 28, 2020

 Spiritual transformation!...

1 Cor 15:49 And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man.

#Reflect the divine image!

Tuesday, 25 August 2020

WORD DIARY: WEDNESDAY AUGUST 26, 2020

 #Supernatural existence!...

1 Cor 15:43

It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.

Divine power!

1Cor 15:44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.

If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

#Supernatural existence!

1 Cor 15: 45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

#Resurrection power!

John 20:15 He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?”

Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.”

Let us pray: O Lord, turn our mourning into joy in Jesus name

#Life questions: 1. Do you desire the power of the Holy Spirit?

2. Have you invited Jesus to be your Lord and personal saviour?

WORD DIARY: TUSDAY AUGUST 25, 2020

 #Manifest your glory!...

1 Cor 15:40 There are also heavenly bodies and there

earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another.

#Physical vs spiritual glory!

1 Cor 15:41 The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.

#Manifest your glory!

1 Cor 15:42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable.

#Everlasting life!

John 20:14 At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus.

Let us pray: O Lord, grant us the revelation of your glory in Jesus name

#Life questions: 1. What are the hinderances to the manifestation of your glory?

2. How can you deal with these hindrances?

WORD DIARY: MONDAY AUGUST 24, 2020

#Different and unique outcomes!...

1 Cor 15:37 When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed,

perhaps of wheat or of something else.

#The seed is not the harvest!

1 Cor 15:38 But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he

gives its own body.

#Divine purpose!

1 Cor 15:39 All flesh is not the same: Men have one kind of flesh, animals have

another, birds another and fish another.

#Different and unique outcomes!

John 20:13 They asked her, "Woman, why are you crying?" "They have taken my

Lord away," she said, "and I don't know where they have put him."

Let us pray: O Lord, thank you for the joy of salvation in Jesus name

#Life questions: 1. Have you discovered your purpose in life?

2. Are you actions aligned with your purpose?

WORD DIARY: SUNDAY AUGUST 23, 2020

Price goes before the prize!....

1 Cor 15:33 Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good character."

Who do you relate with?!

1 Cor 15:34 Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are

some who are ignorant of God — I say this to your shame.

Self-audit!

1 Cor 15:35-36 But someone may ask, "How are the dead raised? With what kind of

body will they come?" How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.

Price goes before the prize!

John 20:10-12 Then the disciples went back to their homes, but Mary stood outside

the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb and saw two angels

in white, seated where Jesus' body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.

Let us pray: O Lord, we receive grace to tarry in your presence in Jesus name.

#Life questions: 1. How will you evaluate the quality of your relationship with God?

2. Are you willing to make required changes after such audit?

WORD DIARY: SATURDAY AUGUST 22, 2020

#There is more to life!...

1 Cor 15:29 Now if there is no resurrection, what will those do who are baptized for

the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptized for them?

#Prepare for the resurrection morning!

1 Cor 15:30-31 And as for us, why do we endanger ourselves every hour? I die every day

— I mean that, brothers — just as surely as I glory over you in Christ Jesus our Lord.

#Focus on purpose!

1 Cor 15:32 If I fought wild beasts in Ephesus for merely human reasons, what have

I gained? If the dead are not raised, "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die."

#There is more to life!

John 20:8-9 Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside.

He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to

rise from the dead.)

Let us pray: Father God, we receive grace for the resurrection power in Jesus name

#Life questions: 1. Do you believe in the doctrine of resurrection and after-life?

2. How has this doctrine refined your purpose in life?

WORD DIARY: FRIDAY AUGUST 21, 2020

#The Almighty and Supreme God!..

1 Cor 15:26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

#Victory over death!

1 Cor 15:27 For he "has put everything under his feet." Now when it says

that "everything" has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include

God himself, who put everything under Christ.

#The ruling Christ!

1 Cor 15:28 When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him

who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.

#The Almighty and Supreme God!

John 20:5-7 He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in.

Then Simon Peter, who was behind him, arrived and went into the tomb. He saw the

strips of linen lying there, as well as the burial cloth that had been around Jesus' head.

The cloth was folded up by itself, separate from the linen.

Let us pray: O Lord, grant us a revelation of the resurrection power in Jesus name

#Life questions: 1. Do you see God as the Almighty over your circumstances?

2. How will this change your perspective to life?
