WORD DIARY: SUNDAY NOVEMBER 17, 2024

#No more idolatry!..

Psalms 106:32-33 By the waters of Meribah they angered the Lord, and trouble came to Moses because of them; for they rebelled against the Spirit of God, and rash words came from Moses’ lips

#No more provocations!

Psalms 106:34-35 They did not destroy the peoples as the Lord had commanded them, but they mingled with the nations and adopted their customs.

#No more pollution!

Psalms 106:36-37 They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them. They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to false gods.

#No more idolatry!

Psalms 106:38 They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood.

Let us pray: Father God, have mercy and cleanse us from every sin in the name of Jesus

#Life questions and meditation:

1. Are your actions pure?

2. Are your actions polluted?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a Bible believing church near you.
