Prov 26:28 A lying tongue hates those it hurts, and a flattering mouth works ruin.

#Beware of flattery!

Prov 27:1-2 Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring. Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips.

#Beware of boasting!

Prov 27:3 Stone is heavy and sand a burden, but a fool’s provocation is heavier than both.

#Beware of provocation!

Prov 27:4 Anger is cruel and fury overwhelming, but who can stand before jealousy?

Let us pray: Father God, we reject every spirit of jealousy in the name of Jesus

#Beware of enemies!..

 

Prov 26:22 The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to the inmost parts.

#Beware of gossip!

Prov 26:23-24 Like a coating of silver dross on earthenware are fervent lips with an evil heart. Enemies disguise themselves with their lips, but in their hearts they harbor deceit.

#Beware of enemies!

 

Prov 26:25-26 Though their speech is charming, do not believe them, for seven abominations fill their hearts. Their malice may be concealed by deception, but their wickedness will be exposed in the assembly.

#Beware of deception!

Prov 26:27 Whoever digs a pit will fall into it; if someone rolls a stone, it will roll back on them.

Let us pray: Father God, arise and deliver us from the trap of the enemies in the name of Jesus

#Beware of delusion!..

 

Prov 26:15 A sluggard buries his hand in the dish; he is too lazy to bring it back to his mouth.

#Beware of indolence!

Prov 26:16-17 A sluggard is wiser in his own eyes than seven people who answer discreetly. Like one who grabs a stray dog by the ears is someone who rushes into a quarrel not their own.

#Beware of delusion!

Prov 26:18-19 Like a maniac shooting flaming arrows of death is one who deceives their neighbor and says, “I was only joking!”

#Beware of deception!

Prov 26:20-21 Without wood a fire goes out; without a gossip a quarrel dies down. As charcoal to embers and as wood to fire, so is a quarrelsome person for kindling strife.

Let us pray: Father God, we come against the spirit of gossip and strife in the name of Jesus
