WORD DIARY: SUNDAY JULY 27, 2025

#Grace for self-control!..

Prov 25:27 It is not good to eat too much honey, nor is it honorable to search out matters that are too deep.

#Grace for contentment!

Prov 25:28 Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control.

#Grace for self-control!

Prov 26:1 Like snow in summer or rain in harvest, honor is not fitting for a fool.

#Grace for wisdom!

Prov 26:2 A whip for the horse, a bridle for the donkey, and a rod for the backs of fools!

Let us pray: Father God, we submit to your control in the name of Jesus

#Life questions and meditation:

1. Are you content?

2. Do you consume more than is necessary?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a Bible believing church near you.
