WORD DIARY: SATURDAY MAY 23, 2026

 

#Beware of the wicked!..

Prov. 23:34-35 You will be like one sleeping on the high seas, lying on top of the rigging.  “They hit me,” you will say, “but I’m not hurt! They beat me, but I don’t feel it! When will I wake up so I can find another drink?”

#Beware of delusion!

Prov. 24:1-2 Do not envy the wicked, do not desire their company; for their hearts plot violence, and their lips talk about making trouble.

#Beware of the wicked!

Prov. 24:3-4 By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.

#Desire wisdom and understanding!

Prov. 24:5-6 The wise prevail through great power, and those who have knowledge muster their strength. Surely you need guidance to wage war, and victory is won through many advisers.

Let us pray: Father God, grant us winning wisdom in the name of Jesus
