WORD DIARY: FRIDAY JANUARY 4, 2019

Luke 7:28 I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he."

Experience the Kingdom life! #PastorBasil

Luke 7:31-32 "To what, then, can I compare the people of this generation? What are they like? They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to each other: "'We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not cry.'

Controversy! #PastorBasil

Luke 7:33-35 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, 'He has a demon.' The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and "sinners." 'But wisdom is proved right by all her children."

Wanted: Wisdom for discernment! #PastorBasil

Mark 11:15 On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple area and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves

Let us pray: Powers trading with our destinies shall be destroyed in Jesus name #PastorBasil

WORD DIARY: THURSDAY JANUARY 3, 2019

Luke 7:23 Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of me."

Reject backsliding! #PastorBasil

Luke 7:24-25 After John's messengers left, Jesus began to speak to the crowd about John: "What did you go out into the desert to see? A reed swayed by the wind? If not, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? No, those who wear expensive clothes and indulge in luxury are in palaces.

Don’t lose the vision! #PastorBasil

Luke 7:26-27 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet. This is the one about whom it is written: "'I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.'

Divine purpose! #PastorBasil

Mark 11:12-14 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. Then he said to the tree, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again." And his disciples heard him say it.

Let us pray: O Lord, give us the grace for continuous productivity in Jesus name #PastorBasil

WORD DIARY: WEDNESDAY JANUARY 2, 2019

Luke 7:18-19 John's disciples told him about all these things. Calling two of them, he sent them to the Lord to ask, "Are you the one who was to come, or should we expect someone else?"

Jesus! #PastorBasil

Luke 7:20 When the men came to Jesus, they said, "John the Baptist sent us to you to ask, 'Are you the one who was to come, or should we expect someone else?'"

Jesus! #PastorBasil

Luke 7:21-22 At that very time Jesus cured many who had diseases, sicknesses and evil spirits, and gave sight to many who were blind. So he replied to the messengers, "Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.

Divine proof! #PastorBasil

Mark 11:8-9 Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields. Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted, "Hosanna!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!"

Let us pray: Lord, may we worship you with all we have in Jesus name #PastorBasil

(PROVERBS 23:17-18, 24:13-14)

WORD DIARY: TUESDAY JANUARY 1, 2019

Luke 7:11-12 Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him. As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out — the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her.

Great trial and temptation! #PastorBasil

Luke 7:13-15 When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, "Don't cry."  Then he went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, "Young man, I say to you, get up!"  The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.

Great miracle and defining accomplishment! #PastorBasil

Luke 7:16-17 They were all filled with awe and praised God. "A great prophet has appeared among us," they said. "God has come to help his people." This news about Jesus spread throughout Judea and the surrounding country.

Great testimony and praise report! #PastorBasil

Mark 11:7 When they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, he sat on it.

Let us pray: O Lord, grant us the grace to fulfill purpose in Jesus name #PastorBasil
