#Different dreams!..

Gen 41:9 Then the chief cupbearer said to Pharaoh, “Today I am reminded of my shortcomings.

#C.O.N.F.E.S.S.!

Gen 41:10-11 Pharaoh was once angry with his servants, and he imprisoned me and the chief baker in the house of the captain of the guard. Each of us had a dream the same night, and each dream had a meaning of its own.

#Different dreams!

Gen 41:12 Now a young Hebrew was there with us, a servant of the captain of the guard. We told him our dreams, and he interpreted them for us, giving each man the interpretation of his dream.

#Grace for discernment!

Gen 41:13 And things turned out exactly as he interpreted them to us: I was restored to my position, and the other man was impaled.”

Let us pray: O Lord, arise and restore us in the name of Jesus

#Life questions and meditation:

1. Do you own up to your fault?

2. Are you aware of the power of confession?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a Bible believing church near you.

WORD DIARY: SATURDAY MAY 27, 2023

#Second time!..

Gen 41:1-2 When two full years had passed, Pharaoh had a dream: He was standing by the Nile, when out of the river there came up seven cows, sleek and fat, and they grazed among the reeds.

#Due time!

Gen 41:3-4 After them, seven other cows, ugly and gaunt, came up out of the Nile and stood beside those on the riverbank. And the cows that were ugly and gaunt ate up the seven sleek, fat cows. Then Pharaoh woke up.

#First time!

Gen 41:5-7 He fell asleep again and had a second dream: Seven heads of grain, healthy and good, were growing on a single stalk. After them, seven other heads of grain sprouted—thin and scorched by the east wind. The thin heads of grain swallowed up the seven healthy, full heads. Then Pharaoh woke up; it had been a dream.

#Second time!

Gen 41:8 In the morning his mind was troubled, so he sent for all the magicians and wise men of Egypt. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but no one could interpret them for him.

Let us pray: Father God, we receive grace for discernment in the name of Jesus

#Life questions and meditation:

1. Do you experience patterns in your dreams?

2. How can you discern the patterns in your dreams?

WORD DIARY: FRIDAY MAY 26, 2023

#Decision time!..

Gen 40:18-19 “This is what it means,” Joseph said. “The three baskets are three days.  Within three days Pharaoh will lift off your head and impale your body on a pole. And the birds will eat away your flesh.”

#Mercy of God!

Gen 40:20 Now the third day was Pharaoh’s birthday, and he gave a feast for all his officials. He lifted up the heads of the chief cupbearer and the chief baker in the presence of his officials:

#Decision time!

Gen 40:21-22 He restored the chief cupbearer to his position, so that he once again put the cup into Pharaoh’s hand— but he impaled the chief baker, just as Joseph had said to them in his interpretation.

#Recover all!

Gen 40:23 The chief cupbearer, however, did not remember Joseph; he forgot him.

Let us pray: Father God, cause us to be remembered for good in the name of Jesus

#Life questions and meditation:

1. Do you pray for the manifestation of good dreams?

2. Do you pray to reverse evil dreams?

WORD DIARY: WEDNESDAY MAY 24, 2023

#Cheer up!..

Gen 40:6 When Joseph came to them the next morning, he saw that they were dejected.

#Joy in the Holy Ghost!

Gen 40:7 So he asked Pharaoh’s officials who were in custody with him in his master’s house, “Why do you look so sad today?”

#Cheer up!

Gen 40:8 “We both had dreams,” they answered, “but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

#Divine interpretation!

Gen 40:9-10 So the chief cupbearer told Joseph his dream. He said to him, “In my dream I saw a vine in front of me, and on the vine were three branches. As soon as it budded, it blossomed, and its clusters ripened into grapes.

Let us pray: Father God, we thank you for the grace for productivity in the name of Jesus

#Life questions and meditation:

1. Are you sad?

2. Are you aware of the joy in the Holy Ghost?
