BEYOND EXPECTATIONS! – PART 4 – CONCLUSION! (TURNING EXPECTATIONS TO MANIFESTATION!)

Matthew 14:15 AMP, “When evening came, the disciples came to Him and said, “This is an isolated place and the hour is already late; send the crowds away so that they may go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”

Jesus' ministry was accompanied by a large attention of men, and on one occasion, the population of people with them seemed to be in a stranded place, and the disciples got troubled about their feeding and they thought it well to disperse so that they might fend for themselves. But here we see Jesus placing an expectation on them - Matthew 14:16 AMP “But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away; you give them something to eat!”

The disciples became perplexed as what they had was limited. Categorically, they said only a young boy had five loaves of bread and two fish, and these clearly could not feed thousands of people. The aftermath of these episodes was that there was a multiplication. The desired expectation in the heart of Jesus was manifested even beyond.

See, a man can get what he places his mind on, but for a man to live BEYOND his expectations, it must be fueled from the place of SELFLESSNESS. Men and women in Scripture who have enjoyed provision beyond their expectations are people who decided to focus on the needs of the kingdom above themselves. David enjoyed grace beyond his expectations, because he dared to take on discouraged, discontented, and confused men. These men later became so mighty and loyal, they could literally sacrifice their lives to give him a drink of water behind enemy lines! Likewise, in the human world, business conglomerates raking in billions of dollars have attained such a place from the desire to provide help for others. No man can access the provisions of God if it is just about them. Jesus said in Luke 9:24 KJV “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.” Esther chose to give her life for the deliverance of her people, and she was rewarded exceedingly.

God knows your heart desires, and He longs to fulfil them, but one thing He needs is that you live for Him and His Kingdom, and you will see your expectations turn into manifestation. As we see in Matthew 6:33 AMP “But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.”

We look forward to hearing from God this Sunday as we explore further the theme and conclude the series; and welcome you to join us onsite and online.

God bless you.
