#Believe God!...

Jude 3 Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints.

Jude 4 For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.

 REACH OUT AND TOUCH!.... PART 4 – CONCLUSION: GOD CAME DOWN!

No matter where you at in life, there is someone who looks up to you as an answer to their prayer. That is they want to be like you, or you have something they need. Elijah looked up to the widow of Zarephath for a meal, even though she thought all she and her son had was that just one meal and it would be all over for them. And yet it was that meal that multiplied and fed all three of them during a famine.

Especially during this Christmas season and hopefully going forward, take the attention off your personal needs and share the love of God with someone. Share your time, money, talent, experience, etc. That phone call, visit, smile or kind words all matter. For someone going through tough times, all that is needed may just be your emotional support. Giving is loving, and we are enjoined by Scripture to both love and give.

As Christmas is a period of celebration and thanksgiving, let us go out of our way to share the goodness of God with others. 

“Reach Out and Touch”, our four-part series for the month of December explores the theme of demonstrating the love of God by sharing what we have with others around us.

 REACH OUT AND SHARE!.... PART 2 – BE THE GOOD SAMARITAN!

No matter where you at in life, there is someone who looks up to you as an answer to their prayer. That is they want to be like you, or you have something they need. Elijah looked up to the widow of Zarephath for a meal, even though she thought all she and her son had was that just one meal and it would be all over for them. And yet it was that meal that multiplied and fed all three of them during a famine.

Especially during this Christmas season and hopefully going forward, take the attention off your personal needs and share the love of God with someone. Share your time, money, talent, experience, etc. That phone call, visit, smile or kind words all matter. For someone going through tough times, all that is needed may just be your emotional support. Giving is loving, and we are enjoined by Scripture to both love and give.

As Christmas is a period of celebration and thanksgiving, let us go out of our way to share the goodness of God with others. 

“Reach Out and Share”, our four-part series for the month of December explores the theme of demonstrating the love of God by sharing what we have with others around us.

#Knowledge in Christ!.....

1 John 2:13 I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, dear children, because you have known the Father.

#Overcomers in Christ!

1 John 2:14 I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

#Knowledge in Christ!

1 John 2:15 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 

#Lovers in Christ!

James 4:11 Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.

Let us pray: Father God, we receive grace to obey the law in Jesus name

#Go for the truth!...

1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

#Let go!

1 John 2:20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.

#Go for the truth!

1 John 2:21 I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth.

#Reject lies!

James 4:13 Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money."
