WORD DIARY: TUESDAY JULY 29, 2014

Psalms 72:1-2 Endow the king with your justice, O God, the royal son with your righteousness.  He will judge your people in righteousness, your afflicted ones with justice.

EMIR OF KANO, LAMIDI SANUSI CANCELS EID FESTIVITIES!

It’s sad, really sad that the Emir of Kano cancelled much of the festivities surrounding Eid on account of insurgent security concerns.

If truly the insurgency arose on religious platform, I wonder what the terrorists, their sponsors, sympathizers and apologists will be thinking now. It is understood however, that the only harvest following a sewing of the wind, is the whirlwind! 

Nonetheless, I weep for my country ….. Nigeria!

Psalms 71:1-3 In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame. Rescue me and deliver me in your righteousness; turn your ear to me and save me. Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.

Psalms 69:1-2 Save me, O God, for the waters have come up to my neck.  I sink in the miry depths, where there is no foothold. I have come into the deep waters; the floods engulf me.

The Lord is my  boat; I shall not sink! #PastorBasil

Psalms 69:30-31 I will praise God's name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving. This will please the Lord more than an ox, more than a bull with its horns and hoofs.
