#Make a demand!...

Ex 3:21 "And I will make the Egyptians favorably disposed toward this people, so that when you leave you will not go empty-handed.

#Divine favour!

Ex 3:22 Every woman is to ask her neighbor and any woman living in her house for articles of silver and gold and for clothing, which you will put on your sons and daughters. And so you will plunder the Egyptians."

#Make a demand!

Ex 4:1-2 Moses answered, "What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, 'The Lord did not appear to you'?" Then the Lord said to him, "What is that in your hand?" "A staff," he replied. 

#Believe God!

Gen 8:8 Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground.

#Hand of God!...

Ex 3:18 "The elders of Israel will listen to you. Then you and the elders are to go to the king of Egypt and say to him, 'The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Let us take a three-day journey into the desert to offer sacrifices to the Lord our God.' 

#Encounter God!

Ex 3:19 But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless a mighty hand compels him. 

#Hand of God!

Ex 3:20 So I will stretch out my hand and strike the Egyptians with all the wonders that I will perform among them. After that, he will let you go.

#Wonders of God!

Gen 8:6-7 After forty days Noah opened the window he had made in the ark and sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth.

#All seeing God!...

Ex 3:15 God also said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites, 'The Lord, the God of your fathers — the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob — has sent me to you.' This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation. 

#Everlasting God!

Ex 3:16 "Go, assemble the elders of Israel and say to them, 'The Lord, the God of your fathers — the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob — appeared to me and said: I have watched over you and have seen what has been done to you in Egypt.

#All seeing God!

Ex 3:17 And I have promised to bring you up out of your misery in Egypt into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites — a land flowing with milk and honey.'

#Saving God!

Gen 8:5 The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible.

#The God Almighty!...

Ex 3:11 But Moses said to God, "Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?" 

#You can!

Ex 3:12 And God said, "I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain." 

#Divine backup!

Ex 3:13-14 Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is his name?' Then what shall I tell them?" God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'" 

#The God Almighty!

Gen 8:3-4 The water receded steadily from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the water had gone down, and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.

DIVINE PROVISION!... PART 5 - CONCLUSION

The Salvation Christ brought to us is a total package; "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." (III John 1:2 NKJV).

It is never God's desire that we live in lack. No wonder, God first created a place of total COMFORT: the garden of Eden, before he created man. Lack and hard life were introduced when man abandoned God's relation and fellowship. But through Christ, God still restored all that man lost. Christ died so that we can have 'everything that relate to life and godliness’

'The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.' (Psalms 23:1) As long as the sheep follows and obeys the shepherd, there is a guarantee of provision and safety. God knows that we will sometimes confront lack therefore he promised NEVER to leave nor forsake us. Once we key into his vision, he will always give us the PROVISION just like he made a way for Abraham on the mountain as he went after obeying God. God is able to do (give us) exceedingly above whatever we can ask of.

The key elements in God's provision are; our relationship with God, our obedience to his word (direction) and willingness to make our request known to him. (Matt 7:7)

Our series for the month of May explores the theme of divine provision. Join us this Sunday, as we conclude with a further look at scriptural and practical examples that prove God’s faithfulness in making provisions for us. Ex 3:7 The Lord said, "I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.

#Divine concern!

Ex 3:8 So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey — the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. 

#Divine intervention! 

Ex 3:9-10 And now the cry of the Israelites has reached me, and I have seen the way the Egyptians are oppressing them. So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt." 

#Divine mandate!

Gen 8:2 Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed, and the rain had stopped falling from the sky.

Ex 3:4 When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, "Moses! Moses!" And Moses said, "Here I am."

Ex 3:5 "Do not come any closer," God said. "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground." 

#Reverence God!

Ex 3:6 Then he said, "I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob." At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God. 

#O Lord our God!

Gen 8:1 But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded.

#Supernatural reality!...

Ex 3:1 Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

#Mountain of encounter!

Ex 3:2 There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up.

#Divine presence!

Ex 3:3 So Moses thought, "I will go over and see this strange sight — why the bush does not burn up." 

#Supernatural reality!

Gen 7:23-24 Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; men and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds of the air were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark. The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and fifty days. 

Let us pray: O Lord, raise a standard of protection for us in the name of Jesus

#O Lord arise!...

Ex 2:21-22 Moses agreed to stay with the man, who gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses in marriage. Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom, saying, "I have become an alien in a foreign land."

#The blessing of the Lord!

Ex 2:23 During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God.

#O Lord arise!

Ex 2:24-25 God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob. So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them. 

#Divine response!

Gen 7:21-23 Every living thing that moved on the earth perished — birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind. Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died. 

Let us pray: O Lord, let your mercy prevail in the name of Jesus

Ex 2:18 When the girls returned to Reuel their father, he asked them, "Why have you returned so early today?"

Ex 2:19 They answered, "An Egyptian rescued us from the shepherds. He even drew water for us and watered the flock."

Ex 2:20 "And where is he?" he asked his daughters. "Why did you leave him? Invite him to have something to eat."

Gen 7:19-20 They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered. The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than twenty feet.

Ex 2:15 When Pharaoh heard of this, he tried to kill Moses, but Moses fled from Pharaoh and went to live in Midian, where he sat down by a well.

Ex 2:16 Now a priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came to draw water and fill the troughs to water their father's flock.

Ex 2:17 Some shepherds came along and drove them away, but Moses got up and came to their rescue and watered their flock. 

#Divine help!

Gen 7:17-18 For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth, and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth. The waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water.

#Grace for discernment!..

Ex 2:11 One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people.

#Divine inspiration!

Ex 2:12 Glancing this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. 

#Grace for discernment!

Ex 2:13-14 The next day he went out and saw two Hebrews fighting. He asked the one in the wrong, "Why are you hitting your fellow Hebrew?" The man said, "Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian?" Then Moses was afraid and thought, "What I did must have become known." 

#No hiding place!

Gen 7:15-16 Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of life in them came to Noah and entered the ark. The animals going in were male and female of every living thing, as God had commanded Noah. Then the Lord shut him in. 

Let us pray: Father God, we abide under your shadow in the name of Jesus

#Divine outcome!...

Ex 2:5-6 Then Pharaoh's daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the river bank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her slave girl to get it. She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. "This is one of the Hebrew babies," she said. 

#Divine compassion and intervention!

Ex 2:7-8 Then his sister asked Pharaoh's daughter, "Shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?" "Yes, go," she answered. And the girl went and got the baby's mother.

#Divine purpose!

Ex 2:9-10 Pharaoh's daughter said to her, "Take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay you." So the woman took the baby and nursed him. When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh's daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, saying, "I drew him out of the water."

#Divine outcome!

Gen 7:13-14 On that very day Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, together with his wife and the wives of his three sons, entered the ark. They had with them every wild animal according to its kind, all livestock according to their kinds, every creature that moves along the ground according to its kind and every bird according to its kind, everything with wings.

Let us pray: Father God we thank you for the covenant of preservation in the name of Jesus

#Divine direction!....

Ex 2:1-2 Now a man of the house of Levi married a Levite woman, and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months.

#Divine providence!

Ex 2:3 But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile.

#Divine direction!

Ex 2:4 His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him. 

#Divine protection!

Gen 7:11-12 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, on the seventeenth day of the second month — on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened. And rain fell on the earth forty days and forty nights.

 DIVINE PROVISION!... PART 3

The Salvation Christ brought to us is a total package; "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."(III John 1:2 NKJV). 

It is never God's desire that we live in lack. No wonder, God first created a place of total COMFORT: the garden of Eden, before he created man. Lack and hard life were introduced when man abandoned God's relation and fellowship. But through Christ, God still restored all that man lost. Christ died so that we can have 'everything that relate to life and godliness' 

'The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.' (Psalms 23:1) As long as the sheep follows and obeys the shepherd, there is a guarantee of provision and safety. God knows that we will sometimes confront lack therefore he promised NEVER to leave nor forsake us. Once we key into his vision, he will always give us the PROVISION just like he made a way for Abraham on the mountain as he went after obeying God. God is able to do (give us) exceedingly above whatever we can ask from.

The key elements in God's provision are; our relationship with God, our obedience to his word (direction) and willingness to make our request known to him. (Matt 7:7)

Our series for the month of May explores the theme of divine provision. Join us this and every Sunday, as we look at scriptural and practical examples that prove God’s faithfulness in making provisions for us. #The light of God!..

Rev 21:21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass.

Rev 21:22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

Rev 21:15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls.

#Consider your ways!

Rev 21:16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long.

#Beware of testing times!

Rev 21:17 The angel measured the wall using human measurement, and it was 144 cubits thick.
