Prov 2:3 The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.
#Go for protection!
Prov 2:4 Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life.
Prov 2:5 In the paths of the wicked are snares and pitfalls, but those who would preserve their life stay far from them.
#Beware of wickedness!
Prov 2:6 Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.
Let us pray: Father God, we receive grace to train our children in the name of Jesus

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.
God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.
