WORD DIARY: SATURDAY March 10, 2018

Matthew 6:5 "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.

Every spirit of hypocrisy, die! #PastorBasil

Matthew 6:6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

O Lord, answer our prayers! #PastorBasil

 

The Bible

Matthew 6:9-10 "This, then, is how you should pray: "'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,

your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Isaiah 65:2-3 All day long I have held out my hands to an obstinate people, who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations —a people who continually provoke me to my very face, offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on altars of brick

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.
