WORD DIARY: THURSDAY AUGUST 9, 2018

Matthew 22:1-3 Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.

Grace to accept the Lord’s invitation! #PastorBasil

Matthew 22:4 “Then he sent some more servants and said, 'Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.'

The Bible
Matthew 22:5-7 "But they paid no attention and went off — one to his field, another to his business. The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

Mind God’s business! #PastorBasil

Mark 4:38-39 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, "Teacher, don't you care if we drown?"  He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

Let us pray: O Lord, arise and calm every storm troubling our lives in Jesus name #PastorBasil
