WORD DIARY: SUNDAY AUGUST 15, 2021

#The blood of the covenant!...

Heb 9:18 This is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood.

#The blood of sanctification!

Heb 9:19 When Moses had proclaimed every commandment of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves, together with water, scarlet wool and branches of hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll and all the people.

#The blood of sprinkling!

Heb 9:20 He said, "This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep."

#The blood of the covenant!

2 Thess 1:12 We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us pray: O Lord, may our lives glorify you in Jesus name

#Life questions and meditation: 1. Do you accept the sanctification by the blood of Jesus?

2. Do you keep the blood of the covenant?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a Bible believing church near you.
