WORD DIARY: WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 12, 2022

#Don’t stray!..

Ex 22:2-3 “If a thief is caught breaking in at night and is struck a fatal blow, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed; but if it happens after sunrise, the defender is guilty of bloodshed. “Anyone who steals must certainly make restitution, but if they have nothing, they must be sold to pay for their theft.

#Go for social responsibility!

Ex 22:4 If the stolen animal is found alive in their possession—whether ox or donkey or sheep—they must pay back double.

#Double restoration!

Ex 22:5 5 “If anyone grazes their livestock in a field or vineyard and lets them stray and they graze in someone else’s field, the offender must make restitution from the best of their own field or vineyard.

#Don’t stray!

Gen 17:9 Then God said to Abraham, “As for you, you must keep my covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations to come.

Let us pray: Father God, we thank you for the grace to keep the covenant in the name of Jesus

#Life questions and meditation:

1. How socially responsible are you?

2. Are you likely to stray?
