Matthew 21:18-19 Early in the morning, as he was on his way back to
the city, he was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but
found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear
fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered.

Mark 4:30-32 Again he said, "What shall we say the kingdom of
God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard
seed, which is the smallest seed you plant in the ground. Yet when planted, it
grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that
the birds of the air can perch in its shade."

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but
men have gone in search of many schemes.
God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and
like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth
and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living
and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.
These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out
every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus
