WORD DIARY: THURSDAY JULY 19, 2018

Matthew 19:14-15 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."  When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.

Needed: A touch of Jesus! #PastorBasil

Matthew 19:16-17 Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, "Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?"  "Why do you ask me about what is good?" Jesus replied. "There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments."

Obey divine commandments: QED! #PastorBasil

The Bible
Matthew 19:18-19 "Which ones?" the man inquired. Jesus replied, "'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,' and 'love your neighbor as yourself.'"

Grace to obey these and more! #PastorBasil

Mark 4:5-6 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root.

Let us pray: Father, may we be deeply rooted in your word and overcome temptations in Jesus name #PastorBasil
