WORD DIARY: SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 2021

#At all cost!...

Heb 11:36 Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison.

#Grace to endure persecution!

Heb 11:37 They were stoned; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated

#At all cost!

Heb 11:38 The world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground.

#True pilgrims!

2 Thess 3:13 And as for you, brothers, never tire of doing what is right.

Let us pray: O Lord, grant us the grace to do good always in Jesus name

#Life questions and meditation: 1. Can you endure persecution regarding your faith?

2. Do you see yourself truly as a pilgrim?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a Bible believing church near you.
