WORD DIARY: SUNDAY NOVEMBER 13, 2022

#Be practical!..

Ex 27:1 “Build an altar of acacia wood, three cubits high; it is to be square, five cubits long and five cubits wide.

#Sacrifice to God!

Ex 27:2 Make a horn at each of the four corners, so that the horns and the altar are of one piece, and overlay the altar with bronze

#A place of refuge!

Ex 27:3-5 Make all its utensils of bronze—its pots to remove the ashes, and its shovels, sprinkling bowls, meat forks and firepans. Make a grating for it, a bronze network, and make a bronze ring at each of the four corners of the network. Put it under the ledge of the altar so that it is halfway up the altar.

#Be practical!

Gen 18:24 What if there are fifty righteous people in the city? Will you really sweep it away and not spare the place for the sake of the fifty righteous people in it?

Let us pray: Father God, grant us the grace for righteousness in the name of Jesus

#Life questions and meditation:

1. Are you in communion with God?

2. What can you sacrifice to God?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a Bible believing church near you.
