#Don’t misuse the gift!..
Ex 32:2 Aaron answered them, “Take off the gold earrings that your wives, your sons and your daughters are wearing, and bring them to me.”
#Don’t give in!
Ex 32:3 So all the people took off their earrings and brought them to Aaron.
Ex 32:4 He took what they handed him and made it into an idol cast in the shape of a calf, fashioning it with a tool. Then they said, “These are your gods, Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt.”
#Don’t worship idols!
Gen 20:4-5 Now Abimelek had not gone near her, so he said, “Lord, will you destroy an innocent nation? Did he not say to me, ‘She is my sister,’ and didn’t she also say, ‘He is my brother’? I have done this with a clear conscience and clean hands.”
Let us pray: O Lord, let your mercy prevail in the name of Jesus
