WORD DIARY: SUNDAY DECEMBER 25, 2022

#Ask for forgiveness!..

Ex 32:31 So Moses went back to the Lord and said, “Oh, what a great sin these people have committed! They have made themselves gods of gold.

#Confess the sin!

Ex 32:32 32 But now, please forgive their sin—but if not, then blot me out of the book you have written.”

#Ask for forgiveness!

Ex 32:33-34 The Lord replied to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book. Now go, lead the people to the place I spoke of, and my angel will go before you. However, when the time comes for me to punish, I will punish them for their sin.”

#Judgment of God!

Gen 20:16 To Sarah he said, “I am giving your brother a thousand shekels of silver. This is to cover the offense against you before all who are with you; you are completely vindicated.”

Let us pray: O Lord, we receive the grace to make amends in the name of Jesus

#Life questions and meditation:

1. Are there unconfessed sins in your life?

2. Do you ask for forgiveness when in error?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a Bible believing church near you.
