WORD DIARY: SUNDAY JUNE 4, 2023

#No more pain!..

Gen 41:50 Before the years of famine came, two sons were born to Joseph by Asenath daughter of Potiphera, priest of On.

#Good news!

Gen 41:51 Joseph named his firstborn Manasseh and said, “It is because God has made me forget all my trouble and all my father’s household.”

#No more pain!

Gen 41:52 The second son he named Ephraim and said, “It is because God has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering.”

#Grace for fruitfulness!

Gen 41:53-54 The seven years of abundance in Egypt came to an end, and the seven years of famine began, just as Joseph had said. There was famine in all the other lands, but in the whole land of Egypt there was food

Let us pray: Father God, we thank you for the provision in the name of Jesus

#Life questions and meditation:

1. Are you still carrying the pains of the past?

2. How can you let go of the pains of the past?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a Bible believing church near you.
