WORD DIARY: SUNDAY APRIL 14, 2019

Luke 22:31-32 "Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers."

Beware of the devil’s devices! #PastorBasil

Luke 22:33 But he replied, "Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death."

Boast only in God! #PastorBasil

Luke 22: 34 Jesus answered, "I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me."

Divine revelation! #PastorBasil

John 2:16-17 To those who sold doves he said, "Get these out of here! How dare you turn my Father's house into a market!" His disciples remembered that it is written: "Zeal for your house will consume me."

Let us pray: O Lord, we reject the spirit of merchandise in your Church in Jesus name #PastorBasil

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a bible believing church near you.
