2 Cor 1:5 For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ
our comfort overflows.

2 Cor 1:6 If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer.

2 Cor 1:7 And our hope for you is firm,
because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in
our comfort.

John 20:30-31 Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
Let us pray: O Lord, we thank you for the gift of everlasting life in Jesus name
