WORD DIARY: SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 20, 2020

#Glow in the spirit!...

2 Cor 3:11 And if what was fading away came with glory, how much greater is the glory

of that which lasts!

#Everlasting glory!

2 Cor 3:12 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.

#Be bold!

2 Cor 3:13-14 We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep

the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away.

But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the

old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.

#Glow in the spirit!

John 21:16 Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me?"

He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep."

Let us pray: O Lord, we receive grace to preach the good news in Jesus name

#Life questions: 1. Have you encountered the light of the good news?

2. How has the light of the good news changed your perspective to life?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a Bible believing church near you.
