WORD DIARY: SUNDAY OCTOBER 11, 2020

 #Divine comfort!...

2 Cor 7:5 For when we came into Macedonia, this body of ours had no rest, but we were harassed at every turn — conflicts on the outside, fears within.
#Look unto Jesus!
2 Cor 7:6 But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus
#Divine comfort!
2 Cor 7:7 And not only by his coming but also by the comfort you had given him. He told us about your longing for me, your deep sorrow, your ardent concern for me, so that my joy was greater than ever.
#Show care!
Gal 1:17 Nor did I go up to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before I was, but I went immediately into Arabia and later returned to Damascus.
Let us pray: Father God, we receive grace for divine direction in Jesus name
#Life questions: 1. Do you look unto Jesus for comfort in challenging times?
2. Are you concerned about the welfare of others?
Postscript
Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.
God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.
These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a Bible believing church near you.
