WORD DIARY: SUNDAY OCTOBER 18, 2020

 #Provision for all!...

2 Cor 8:12 For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has,

not according to what he does not have.

#Required in giving: willingness and ability!

2 Cor 8:13 Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but

that there might be equality .

#Provision for all!

2 Cor 8:14-15 At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. Then there will be equality, as it is written: "He

who gathered much did not have too much, and he who gathered little did not have too

little."

#Fairness to all!

Gal 2:3 Yet not even Titus, who was with me, was compelled to be circumcised, even

though he was a Greek.

Let us pray: O Lord, help us to focus on the things that matter in Jesus name

#Life questions: 1. Do you find it difficult to give even when you have the ability?

2.  How can you ensure that there is provision for all?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a Bible believing church near you.
