WORD DIARY: WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 17, 2021

 

#Give sacrificially!....

1 Thess 2:6 We were not looking for praise from men, not from you or anyone else. As apostles of Christ we could have been a burden to you

#Don’t look up to human praise!

1 Thess 2:7 But we were gentle among you, like a mother caring for her little children.

#Be kind!

1 Thess 2:8 We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.

#Give sacrificially!

Col 1:10 And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God

Let us pray: Father God, may our lives please you in Jesus name

#Life questions: 1. Are your looking to please God or for men to praise you?

2. Do you give only when it is convenient or also when it is sacrificial?
