1 Peter 1:23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.
#Be born again!
1 Peter 1:24 For, “All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall
#Beware of vain glory!
1 Peter 1:25 But the word of the Lord stands forever." And this is the word that was preached to you.
#Be a doer of the word of God!
James 1:23-24 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
Let us pray: O Lord, we receive wisdom and correction from your word in Jesus name
