WORD DIARY: WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 13, 2021

#Do good!..

1 Peter 2:13 Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority

#Obey constituted authority!

1 Peter 2:14 Or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right.

#Do good!

1 Peter 2:15 For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men.

#Overcome evil with good!

James 2:2-4 Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in shabby clothes also comes in. If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, "Here's a good seat for you," but say to the poor man, "You stand there" or "Sit on the floor by my feet," have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?

Let us pray: O Lord, we receive the grace for fairness in Jesus name

#Life questions and meditation:

1. Do you obey constituted authority?

2. In what ways can you overcome evil with good?
