WORD DIARY: SUNDAY OCTOBER 10, 2021

#Be spiritual!...

1 Peter 2:4 As you come to him, the living Stone — rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him

#Christ the Living Cornerstone!

1 Peter 2:5 You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

#Be spiritual!

1 Peter 2:6 For in Scripture it says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame."

#No more shame!

James 1:26 If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.

Let us pray: O Lord, we receive grace to practice true religion in Jesus name

#Life questions and meditation:

1. Have you accepted Christ the Living Cornerstone?

2. Are you manifesting the priesthood of all believers?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a Bible believing church near you.
