#Go for a vow!..
Gen 47:27 Now the Israelites settled in Egypt in the region of Goshen. They acquired property there and were fruitful and increased greatly in number.
#Go for increase!
Gen 47:28 Jacob lived in Egypt seventeen years, and the years of his life were a hundred and forty-seven.
#Go for long life!
Gen 47:29 When the time drew near for Israel to die, he called for his son Joseph and said to him, “If I have found favor in your eyes, put your hand under my thigh and promise that you will show me kindness and faithfulness. Do not bury me in Egypt
Gen 47:30-31 But when I rest with my fathers, carry me out of Egypt and bury me where they are buried.” “I will do as you say,” he said. “Swear to me,” he said. Then Joseph swore to him, and Israel worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff
Let us pray: Father God, give us the grace to fulfil our vows in the name of Jesus

Postscript
Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.
God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.
These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a Bible believing church near you.
