WORD DIARY: MONDAY AUGUST 4, 2014

Psalms 75:1 We give thanks to you, O God, we give thanks, for your Name is near; men tell of your wonderful deeds.

Thank you Lord, for another week! #PastorBasil

Psalms 75:6-7 No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt a man. But it is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another.

Promotion comes from God! #PastorBasil

Ecclesiastes 1:1-3 The words of the Teacher, son of David, king in Jerusalem:  "Meaningless!  Meaningless!" says the Teacher. "Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless."  What does man gain from all his labor at which he toils under the sun?

Oh Lord, keep my eyes on eternity! #PastorBasil

Ecclesiastes 1:8-10 All things are wearisome, more than one can say. The eye never has enough of seeing, nor the ear its fill of hearing.  What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. Is there anything of which one can say, "Look! This is something new"? It was here already, long ago; it was here before our time.

Let us pray: Oh Lord, grant us the spirit of temperance in Jesus name #PastorBasil
