WORD DIARY: SUNDAY MAY 30, 2021

#Go for God’s help!...

2 Tim 4:16 At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them.

#Encourage others!

2 Tim 4:17 But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion's mouth.

#Go for God’s help!

2 Tim 4:18 The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

#Assurance of heaven!

1 Thess 2:10 You are witnesses, and so is God, of how holy, righteous and blameless we were among you who believed.

Let us pray: O Lord, may we reflect your character in Jesus name

#Life questions: 1. In what ways can you encourage others?

2. Do you have the assurance of heaven?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone

in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every

manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day,

so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a

malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you

need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a

Bible believing church near you.
