Jeremiah 7:3 This
is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Reform your ways and your
actions, and I will let you live in this place.

Jeremiah 7:18-19 The
children gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough
and make cakes of bread for the Queen of Heaven. They pour out drink offerings
to other gods to provoke me to anger. But am I the one they are provoking? declares
the Lord. Are they not rather harming themselves, to their own shame?

Isaiah 31:8-9 "Assyria
will fall by a sword that is not of man; a sword, not of mortals, will devour
them. They will flee before the sword and their young men will be put to forced
labor. Their stronghold will fall because of terror; at sight of the battle

Zion, whose furnace is in Jerusalem.
