WORD DIARY: SUNDAY AUGUST 27, 2023

 

#Observe divine instructions!..

Prov 8:27-29 I was there when he set the heavens in place, when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep, ... when he gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep his command, and when he marked out the foundations of the earth.

#Observe divine boundaries!

Prov 8:30-31 Then I was constantly at his side. I was filled with delight day after day,    rejoicing always in his presence, rejoicing in his whole world and delighting in mankind.

#Go for divine presence!

Prov 8:32-33 “Now then, my children, listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways.  Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not disregard it.

#Observe divine instructions!

Prov 8:34-36 Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway. For those who find me find life and receive favor from the Lord. But those who fail to find me harm themselves; all who hate me love death.”

Let us pray: Father God, we receive grace to obey your instructions in the name of Jesus

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every  manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.
