WORD DIARY: MONDAY MAY 13, 2019

Acts 1:4-5 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."

The gift of the Holy Spirit! #Pastor Basil

Acts 1:6 So when they met together, they asked him, "Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?"

Kingdom restoration! #Pastor Basil

Acts 1:7 He said to them: "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.

Divine authority! #Pastor Basil

John 4:7-9 When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, "Will you give me a drink?" (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.) The Samaritan woman said to him, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?" (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)

Let us pray: O Lord, give us the grace to focus on the things that unite us in Jesus name #Pastor Basil
