WORD DIARY: THURSDAY MAY 9, 2019

Luke 24:41-43 And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, "Do you have anything here to eat?"  They gave him a piece of broiled fish, and he took it and ate it in their presence.

Jesus is alive!

Luke 24:44 He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms."

Fulfill prophesy!

Luke 24:45 Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.

Receptive heart!

John 3:32-33 He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony. The man who has accepted it has certified that God is truthful.

Let us pray: O Lord, help us to accept and practice the truth of your word in Jesus name
