WORD DIARY: SUNDAY MAY 19, 2019

Acts 2:7-8 Utterly amazed, they asked: "Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans?
Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language?

Divine wonder! #Pastor Basil

Acts 2:11-12  (Both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs — we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!" Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, "What does this mean?"

Holy Ghost revolution! #Pastor Basil

Acts 2:13 Some, however, made fun of them and said, "They have had too much wine."

Reject the mockers! #Pastor Basil

John 4:19 "Sir," the woman said, "I can see that you are a prophet.

Let us pray: O Lord, may our life manifest your glory in Jesus name #Pastor Basil

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a bible believing church near you.
