Acts
22:16 And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins
away, calling on his name.'
Acts
22:17-18 "When I returned to Jerusalem and was praying at the temple, I
fell into a trance and saw the Lord speaking. 'Quick!' he said to me. 'Leave
Jerusalem immediately, because they will not accept your testimony about me.'
Acts
22:19-21 "'Lord,' I replied, 'these men know that I went from one
synagogue to another to imprison and beat those who believe in you. And when
the blood of your martyr Stephen was shed, I stood there giving my approval and
guarding the clothes of those who were killing him.' "Then the Lord said
to me, 'Go; I will send you far away to the Gentiles.'"
John
9:39 Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, so that the
blind will see and those who see will become blind."
Postscript
Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I
found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.
God, more
than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every
manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat
every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and
thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.
These
verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But
you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will
help to contact a bible believing church near you.
