Acts
23:15 Now then, you and the Sanhedrin petition the commander to bring him
before you on the pretext of wanting more accurate information about his case.
We are ready to kill him before he gets here."
Acts
23:16-17 But when the son of Paul's sister heard of this plot, he went into the
barracks and told Paul. Then Paul called one of the centurions and said,
"Take this young man to the commander; he has something to tell him."
Acts
23:19-20 The commander took the young man by the hand, drew him aside and
asked, "What is it you want to tell me?" He said: "The Jews have agreed to ask you
to bring Paul before the Sanhedrin tomorrow on the pretext of wanting more
accurate information about him.
John
10:9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in
and go out, and find pasture.
Postscript
Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I
found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.
God, more
than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every
manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat
every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and
thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.
These verses
and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need
a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to
contact a bible believing church near you.
