WORD DIARY: FRIDAY DECEMBER 5 2014

Psalms 146:7-8 He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous

Psalms 147:1 Praise the Lord. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him!

Psalms 147:2-3 The Lord builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Isaiah 29:19-21 Once more the humble will rejoice in the Lord; the needy will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down —  those who with a word make a man out to be guilty, who ensnare the defender in court  and with false testimony deprive the innocent of justice.
