WORD DIARY: SUNDAY MAY 17, 2020

Divine revelation!...

1 Cor 2:9 However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"

Love God!

1 Cor 2:10 But God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God

Divine revelation!

1 Cor 2:11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

Abide in God!

John 16:25 "Though I have been speaking figuratively, a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father.

Let us pray: O Lord, make your way plain before us in Jesus name

Life questions: 1.  The secrets of God are revealed to those who love him. How much do you
                               love God?

  2.  How can you remove any hindrances to your love for God?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a bible believing church near you.
