The Joy of Parenthood!

One of the joys of parenthood is seeing your child excel in life. Doing what they love, going to places they love. Places you may not go or aspire to go.

I was over joyed, watching some sights and sounds of Venice where my daughter was part of the team that represented her organization, MOWAA, at the 2024 Biennial; and by extension also represented Nigeria, her country of birth. As a global citizen, living and working out of London, she gets to interact and visit with teams spread across the globe.

For any parents, struggling to raise their children in these challenging times, I encourage you to trust God and do the best you can for them. In due time, you will reap the fruits of your labor. Because your children will succeed and do stuff you couldn’t; they will make you proud!…

WORD DIARY: WEDNESDAY MAY 1, 2024

#Grace for abundance!...

Psalms 37:14-15 The wicked draw the sword and bend the bow to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose ways are upright. But their swords will pierce their own hearts, and their bows will be broken.

#Back to sender!

Psalms 37:16-17 Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked; for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.

#Grace for contentment!

Psalms 37:18-19 The blameless spend their days under the Lord’s care, and their inheritance will endure forever. In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty.

#Grace for abundance!

Psalms 37:20 But the wicked will perish: Though the Lord’s enemies are like the flowers of the field, they will be consumed, they will go up in smoke.

Let us pray: Father God, arise and let your enemies be consumed in the name of Jesus

WORD DIARY: TUESDAY APRIL 30, 2024

#Humility pays dividends!..

Psalms 37:7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.

#Wait on God!

Psalms 37:8-9 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. For those who are evil will be destroyed, but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.

#Beware of anger!

Psalms 37:10-11 A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.

#Humility pays dividends!

Psalms 37:12-13 The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming.

Let us pray: Father God, arise and judge the wicked in the name of Jesus
