WORD DIARY: SUNDAY APRIL 7, 2024

#Garment of joy!..

Psalms 30:8-9 To you, Lord, I called; to the Lord I cried for mercy: “What is gained if I am silenced, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it proclaim your faithfulness?

#Grace to live!

Psalms 30:10 Hear, Lord, and be merciful to me; Lord, be my help.”

#Mercy of God!

Psalms 30:11-12 You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever.

#Garment of joy!

Psalms 31:1 In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness.

Let us pray: Father God, may we not be put to shame in the name of Jesus

#Life questions and meditation:

1. Do you appreciate the mercies of God?

2. Do you have the garment of joy?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every  manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a Bible believing church near you.
