WORD DIARY: FRIDAY JULY 10, 2020

Mind the company you keep!...

1 Cor 10:18 Consider the people of Israel: Do not those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar?

Action and consequence!

1 Cor 10:19-20 Do I mean then that a sacrifice offered to an idol is anything, or that an idol is anything? No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons.

Mind the company you keep!

1 Cor 10:21-23 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord's table and the table of demons. Are we trying to arouse the Lord's jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

Serve God only!

John 18:34-35 "Is that your own idea," Jesus asked, "or did others talk to you about me?"
"Am I a Jew?" Pilate replied. "It was your people and your chief priests who handed you over to me. What is it you have done?"

Let us pray: Father God, protect us from household enemies in Jesus name

Life questions: 1. Are your actions consistent with your Christian beliefs?

2.  Are there actions and character traits that you need to drop?
