WORD DIARY: SUNDAY JULY 5, 2020

Divine provision!...

1 Cor 10:1 For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea.

God of miracles!

1 Cor 10:2 They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.

Baptism into freedom!

1 Cor 10:3-4 They all ate the same spiritual food and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.

Divine provision!

John 18:26-27 One of the high priest's servants, a relative of the man whose ear Peter had cut off, challenged him, "Didn't I see you with him in the olive grove?" Again Peter denied it, and at that moment a rooster began to crow.

Let us pray: O Lord, strengthen our faith in Jesus name

Life questions: 1. Do you believe that God still makes provisions for us as he did in the past?

2.  How does this knowledge help your faith to overcome challenges?

Postscript

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes.

God, more than earthly manufacturers, created a perfect mankind; and like every manufacturer, He gave the Bible as the manual. As we brush our teeth and eat every day, so much do we need to look into that manual for daily living and thereby prevent a malfunction inherent in seeking our many devices.

These verses and the accompanying nuggets are meant to start you out every day. But you need a personal relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. It will help to contact a bible believing church near you.
